Having completed a Degree in Biology, with a speciality in Biotechnology, I joined Invitrogen three years ago. In the last year and a half, I've moved into a sales role, allowing me to get really involved in the company's successes.

Here they say 'passionate people make the difference' - and it's true. I take a lot of pride in building really strong relationships with the clients in my territory. When I've made a sale, it's not just a personal success - it's means my client has the equipment they need for success. And, of course, whenever I do well the company does well.

Invitrogen works hard for it's staff - they provide all the training you need and want. I will take advantage of that, so I can progress professionally, but for the moment I'm concentrating on developing the business in my territory. When I've made Invitrogen the first choice for the research centres in my area I'll consider moving within the company - not before.
